Oslo Opera House Inauguration

The Opera House in Oslo was inaugurated by King Harald of Norway on April 12 2008. The speaker in the first panorama is king Harald. Among the guests are Queen Margrethe of Denmark, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, Princess Mette-Marit and Prince Haakon of Norway.

Hello Magazine Opera Opening

The Oslo Opera House is designed by the renowned architecture firm Snøhetta the company which also designed the new Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
LIke the opera houses in Copenhagen and in Sydney it is situated at the harbour front.

The Opera House is said to be the largest cultural building in Norway since the Nidarosdome.

Operahuset Oslo Indvielse

Det ny operahus i Oslo er lige som Operahuset i København beliggende ved havnefronten.

Arkitektfirmaet Snøhetta som også designede det nye bibliotek i Alexandria har lavet det meget omdiskuterede byggningværk som siges at være det største i Norge efter Nidarosdomen i Trondheim.

Ved invielsen lørdag den 12 april 2008 blev indvielsestalen holdt af Kong Harald og bland gæsterne var såvel dronning Margrethe af Danmark og kronprinsesse Viktoria fra Sverige.

Kansler Angela Merkel fra Tyskland deltog også i feslighederne.
