The Grandeur Point is situated 1/2 mile west of Yavapai Observation Station at the South Rim of Grand Canyon

It is not much visited because there is no close road access, but still the view from it is spectacular.

You can look down on the whole length of the Bright Angel Trail.

In the horizon, you can se the 8,000 foot North Kaibab Plateau.
