9/12 Panoramas.dk is blogged
Weblogs or Bloggers has become an important media on the net, so important that even large news medias like the Guardian Unlimited have there own weblog.
What is a Weblog or a Blogger. You can read a definition at Guardian and see the History of Weblogs at Weblogs.Com
For the VR Community we recently got the VRlog made by Erik Goetze the photographer behind Virtual Parks which was featured here at panoramas.dk exactly a year ago.
In a way the weekly Full Screen Feature is also a sort of Weblog.
And even if he does not call it a weblog Alberto Veroneses one panorama a day The Best Panoramic Views is a sort of.
Because bloggers are steeling sorry distributing the news from other webloggers ( just like the newspapers do) they are very powerful promoters of websites which they find Interesting and useful.
The largests of them is slashdot.com which was started only a few years ago by Rob Malda. Today it is a company which serves more than a million readers each day.
A link from slashdot is said to be able to lay done the largest website because of the large number of visitors it can create.
It has even created a new word to be slashdotted or the slashdot effect
So who did start the blogging of panoramas.dk and where did he find the site. I believe the first link was made at 30 nov by the Presurfer a blogger in Nederland. Well, no, actually the first was my son Lars who at his weblog Armarium logged me already the 6th of April. He by the way maintains the largest link collection of Danish weblogs.
The Presurfer got the link from the LinkyDinky.com newsletter which you can see from the words he is using.
A couple of other bloggers from Nederland and eclectica, a girl in Texas posted the link also on the 30 Nov.
However it was not until Wednesday the 4th of Dec. where the link was posted at Metafilter, Boing Boing , Wirehed Magazine, No Sense of Place my son Armarium again onfocus.com and several others, that the real fun started.
Thursday a Swedish site Buzz a very popular linksite in Sweden linked me.
Today 9/12 panoramas.dk is also mentioned by the very well known web designer and author Jeffrey Zeldman in his Daily Report

Where are you Australia ?
From Friday to Tuesday last week the LinkyDinky newsletter had sent more than 10.000 visitors who have seen more than 20.000 full screen QTVR movies. About the same as the feature at MacCentral the week before.
Since wednesday last week more than 25.000 uniqe visitors have seen more than 50.000 Full Screen movies
I expect that tomorrow 100.000 movies have been displayed since the Feature at MacCentral 3 weeks ago.
21/12
157.000 Full Screen QTVR Movies
has been viewed in the 4 weeks from Nov 18 to Dec 20.
1.071.685 hits
284.000 pageviews
and at least 50.000 visitors (unique 81.198 sessions)
This numbers can be much higher because of large caching from AOL and several others.
