This panorama was made on Mars in connection with the Pathfinder mission 1997
In 1997 images larger then 50 kb was a rare thing on the net and this panorama has never been recognized fully. QTVRversions are available at several websites but nobody made Fullscreen QTVR in 1997. Cubic (spherical) QTVR was not available until 2001.
Fullscreen QTVR in browser was introduced by me (Hans Nyberg) in 2001 and after creating panoramas.dk in 2002 the popularity has growN with MAC(H) speed.
Viewing QTVR in fullscreen the "Nyberg way" has become a standard used by a constant growing number of QTVR websites.
