CPE protests in France

Since March 7 millions of people across France have protested against the new job laws Contrat Premiere Embauche (CPE): a new work contract for under-26s which allows a two-year trial period where the employers can end the contract without explanation.

This panorama was made on April 4 when the largest protests took place all over France
The trade union CGT said that 3.1 million people had been protesting nationwide, according to the police the figure was just over one million.

The panorama is from Paris at boulevard Beaumarchais between place de la République
and place de la Bastille.
