On thursday July 29 senator John Kerry accepted the nomination as president candidate for the United State.

The panorama was made at the convent in Boston during his speech after the election.

July 20 is the 35 year anniversary of the first landing on the Moon.

Commander Neil Armstrong was the first to step on the moon and Buzz Aldrin followed. They spent 21.6 hours on the moon.

The images which has been published as a 360 degree panorama before were in low resolution and not suitable for Fullscreen.

However 10 days ago new scans have been posted scanned by Kipp Teague for the Apollo Image Gallery.

I have stitched them into a high resolution panorama which now is presented for the first time in fullscreen QTVR.

You can also hear a soundtrack with the famous words said by Neil Armstrong when he stepped down on the moon.

On the Independence day Sunday July 4 , New York laid the Cornerstone to the new Freedom Tower which is to be built at the site of the World Trade Center destroyed at the 9/11 terrorist attack.

At the cermony Governor George Pataki (in the centre of the panorama) of New York said

"Today we take 20 tons of Adirondack granite -- the bedrock of our state -- and place it as the foundation, the bedrock of a new symbol of American strength and confidence. Today, we lay the cornerstone for a new symbol of this city and this country and of our resolve in the face of terror."
