On May 14 the Crown Prince of Denmark Frederik André Henrik Christian, Prince of Denmark, married the Australian Mary Donaldson from Tasmania, now Mary Elizabeth, Crown Princess of Denmark

I was there from the evening before at the Royal Theatre to the Wedding Waltz just before midnight on the wedding day.

Assigned by the Danish Radio and Television to do panoramas from the event.

Royal Wedding in Denmark I

Today May 14 is the big day in Denmark. Our Crown prince Frederik is getting married to Mary Donaldson. A girl from Tasmania Australia he met a couple of years ago.

Denmark has had wedding fever for several weeks. Event after event has been transmitted in the 2 largest TV stations. The couple has virtualy every day for the last week been in the medias. The hotels are booked with journalists and photographers from all the world.
Tourists from all Denmark has come to Copenhagen to experience this event of the century.

The fullscreen panorama is from the centre of Copenhagen yesterday where the TV stations are making preparations for today.

I am lucky to be part of it as I am making panoramas for the national TV station Danmarks Radio. Last night I was in The Royal Theatre to make a panorama from the big special performance for Mary and Frederik. A fantastic experience.

Today I will be in the curch for the wedding and after that I go to the party at Fredensborg Castle.
