The Christmas market in Nuremberg is famous. Every year it attracts visitors from all the world. The night panoramas was made at the opening night Friday Dec 1. About 25.000 was at the opening and around 20 different Newspaper and TV teams was there among them Japan, Canada, Indonesia, UK and Norway. |

| NUREMBERG CHRISTMAS MARKET
The famous Christkindlesmarkt at the market square in Nuremberg is said to originate as long ago as 1628. At the end of the square you can see Frauenkirche - The Church of Our Lady - At 5.30 p.m. on Friday before the first Advent Sunday, the market is opened by the Christmas Angel who recites the solemn prologue from the gallery of the church. |

The Evangelic Lutheran St. Lawrence’s Church originates from 1250. The 80 meter high towers are a significant landmark in Nürnberg. |

| KÖNIGSTOR
The original medieval fortificaion of Nürnberg was guarded by 46 towers, and was 5 km long. There were five main gates of which 4 still exists like the Königstor (Kings's Gate), right across the main railroad station. |
